SELF-CATERING LODGES

If you are looking for dog-friendly lodges in Scotland, we have a selection of self-catering lodges that welcome up to two dogs. We’ll provide them with a bed, a fleece blanket and a towel as well as treats, bowls and ‘poop’ bags to keep our grounds mess free. And they’re sure to love their ‘welcome toy’, which is theirs to keep as a holiday souvenir! There is a £75 reservation supplement per dog. Service animals accompanying persons with disabilities are always accepted.

The lodges are set in the grounds of our 27-acre country estate, surrounded by beautiful Perthshire countryside, and there are plenty of routes you can follow for ‘walkies’. We also have a dedicated, enclosed doggy play area. Please note that dogs are not allowed in any area of the main building other than The Gatehouse Bar, and we ask you to observe a few house rules for the comfort of all our guests.

HOUSE RULES FOR ALL DOGS

  • My owners will inform the reservations team of my arrival when booking our holiday.
  • I will sleep in my very own bed with my new fluffy blanket, not with my parents.
  • I can take home: my blanket, dog towel, poo bags, toys and treats.
  • I will always be kept on a leash on and around the Resort for the safety of all my other wildlife friends.
  • I agree that my owners will clean up any mess I make around the Resort and surrounding areas using the waste bins provided.
  • I will be on my best behaviour inside the lodge and on the Resort.
  • I will not chew anything I shouldn’t, and if I do, my owners will be subject to a minimum of a £100 damage fine.
  • I will not be left alone in the lodge for any length of time during our stay .
  • I understand that I am only allowed two of my furry friends with me in the lodge and that we must tell reservations in advance.
  • I am permitted to join my human parents at The Gatehouse Bar, and I promise to adhere to my best behaviour and stay on the lead. This is the only area in the main building that I can visit.
  • I understand that Glendevon Lounge is reserved for families and very small humans, so I’m not permitted there.
  • I promise not to cause a disturbance and any barking will be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced.
  • My owners will contact the housekeeping department to arrange a convenient time for servicing their room.
  • My owners are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries I might cause during my stay, and they agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, its owners and its operator from all liability and damage suffered as a result of my behaviour.
  • I understand that the Resort management has the right to charge my owners’ account commensurate with the cost of such damages. The Resort reserves the right to evict my owners and me from the premises if and whenever required with no prior notification. My owners will be responsible for all charges relating to such removal including transportation and kennel charges.

How many dogs can I bring?

Searching for lodges with dogs in Scotland can be tricky, especially if you have more than one, but at Wyndham Duchally Country Estate, we welcome up to two dogs per lodge. There is a £75 reservation supplement per dog. Service animals are always accepted at no extra charge.

Are there any restrictions for dogs on the estate?
